- Launching of the new version of “eSeaGo” Mobile Application
The Hong Kong Hydrographic Office (HO) of the Marine Department officially launched its new version of “eSeaGo” Mobile Application today (24 November) to enable members of the public to display chart information on Hong Kong waters with improved user experience and enhanced functionalities.
The “eSeaGo” app is now available to be downloaded in AppStore, GooglePlay and Huawei AppGallery free of charge. For more information about "eSeaGo", please visit www.hydro.gov.hk/eng/eseago.php.

- Launch of the Revamped "Real Time Tide" Website of the Hong Kong Hydrographic Office
The Hong Kong Hydrographic Office (HO) of the Marine Department officially launched its revamped Real-time Tide webpage today (30 September) to enable members of the public to get latest tidal information within Hong Kong Waters more easily.
The revamped webpage adopts a more user-friendly approach with new interface and responsive web design depending on the device used in order to facilitate web surfing with tablet and mobile devices for better user experience.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the revamped Real-time Tide webpage for the latest tidal information.

- Launch of the Revamped "Tidal Stream Prediction System" Website of the Hong Kong Hydrographic Office
The Hong Kong Hydrographic Office (HO) of the Marine Department officially launched its revamped Tidal Stream Prediction System (TSPS) website today (30 June) to enable members of the public to get tidal stream prediction information within Hong Kong Waters more easily.
The revamped website adopts a more user-friendly approach with new interface and enhanced features, as well as the regrouping of site menu, webpages can be navigated with ease.
To facilitate web surfing with tablet computers and mobile phones, responsive web design is used on the TSPS's website. The revamped website will detect the device used and adjust the character size and elements in webpages automatically for a better and smoother experience.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the revamped Tidal Stream Prediction System website for the latest tidal stream prediction information.

- Launch of the Revamped Website of the Hong Kong Hydrographic Office
The Hong Kong Hydrographic Office (HO) of the Marine Department officially launched its revamped website today (6 January) to assist members of the public to get nautical information more easily.
To facilitate web surfing with tablet computers and mobile phones, responsive web design is used on the HO's website. The revamped website will detect the device used and adjust the character size and elements in webpages automatically for a better and smoother experience.
With new interface and enhanced features of the revamped website, as well as the regrouping of site menu, webpages can be navigated with ease.
Members of the public are welcome to visit the revamped HO website for the latest nautical information.

- The format of the Hong Kong ENC is produced according to the International Hydrographic Organization Transfer Standard for Digital Hydrographic Data Standard (also known as IHO S-57 Standard). Users are reminded to ensure their software / applications / devices are compatible with the S-57 data format before subscription. The subscription includes HK ENC data and access to the HK ENC updating service only. Hong Kong Hydrographic Office does not produce / endorse / recommend any software / applications / device for the use of Hong Kong ENC or S-57 data.
